Registration for the Baloise Antwerp 10 Miles 2023 has been massive. For the first time in 37 editions, the 10 Miles has completely sold out. You can still sign up for the Baloise Antwerp Short Run (6.8 km) and the Kids Mile (1.8 km).

31,000 sports enthusiasts have registered for the 10 Miles, reaching the participant limit set by the organisers. Last Friday, the 30,000 mark had already been rounded. Across the three distances, the registration count currently stands at over 37,000.

Those who are not registered and still want to be part of Belgium’s biggest running party on Sunday can still sign up for the 6.8 km Baloise Antwerp Short Run. Children aged 4 to 12 can take part in the 1.8 km Kids Mile.

Besides the tens of thousands of recreational runners, several top runners will also be at the start with the ambition of winning this 37th Baloise Antwerp 10 Miles. Michael Somers, winner of the past two editions, is absolutely crazy about this race and is resolutely going for three out of three. Pieter-Jan Hannes is probably his main competitor, although we should never write off six-time winner Nick Van Peborgh. There will also be some stiff competition among the women. Victoria Warpy, third last year and one of the better Belgian long-distance runners, will face competition from Imana Truyers and Hanna Vandenbussche.

Antwerps’ Mayor Bart De Wever and Minister of the Interior Annelies Verlinden will also take part in the 10 Miles again this year.

“We are very much looking forward to encouraging the thousands of participants of the Baloise Antwerp 10 Miles as official name sponsor,” said Liesbeth Laureys, Director of Marketing and Digital Business at Baloise. “The Baloise Antwerp 10 Miles will be an inspiring experience. We have provided fringe activities not only on but also along the course. So the Baloise Antwerp 10 Miles will be a great party for everyone, either running or supporting. Our staff and brokers are also enthusiastic, as shown by the 900 registrations that we have received. We are particularly looking forward to the Baloise Cheering Lane at the MAS, where runners and supporters will get a final boost before the finish thanks to the rousing beats of local young DJs.”
