The Baloise Antwerp 10 Miles, which celebrates its 38th edition on Sunday 21 April, closed entries for the 10 miles distance on Tuesday evening and started a waiting list. However, there are still places for the 6 km Baloise Antwerp Short Run and the 1 km Persil Kids Run.
Last year, registrations for the 10 Miles closed five days before the event, this year the organisers have to put up the ‘full’ sign a month and a half in advance. Those who missed the boat and would still like to participate can put their names down on a waiting list. About two weeks before the event, a limited number of freed-up places will be offered again.
Or you can opt to run the Baloise Antwerp Short Run on 21 April, which has not sold out yet. The Short Run is 6 km and follows a beautiful course along Galgenweel on Linkeroever offering stunning views of the Antwerp skyline. Like the 10 Miles, the race starts on Gloriantlaan and finishes on August Vermeylenlaan.
You can also still register for the 1 km Persil Kids Run, for runners aged between 4 and 12.
In 2023, 37,500 runners took part in the Baloise Antwerp 10 Miles. 31,000 of them ran the actual 10 miles, 4,700 chose the Short Run and 1,800 children enjoyed the Kids Run.
