Accessibility
The Kennedytunnel will be closed in the direction of the Netherlands between 11:30am and 5pm.
The Waaslandtunnel will be closed for traffic in both directions starting from 9:30am until about 7pm.
The race
It will be possible to see runners’ progress at interim points on the day of the event.
The organisation allocates the waves. About 1 week before the event, the waves are allocated, together with the bib numbers. You will also be able to find this information in the online lists of participants.
No, this is not possible. If a friend is starting in an earlier wave, you cannot start with them in an earlier wave. After all, this would undermine the whole starting system. There will be checks at the entrance to the starting area based on the bib numbers, which will mention the waves. You will be able to start together in a later wave. You do not have to do anything for this, you will get access to a later wave with your bib number without any problems. By the way, it is not a disadvantage to start in a later wave. You can start leisurely and smoothly and there will be pacemakers in each wave – including for fast runners.
Every participant will also receive a wristband showing the split times per kilometre that you need to run to finish within your desired time. A handy reminder for your race that you simply wear on your wrist! These bands are free and can be collected from the registration area on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
You can them here after the event.
