The 37th edition of the Baloise Antwerp 10 Miles will take place on Sunday 23 April 2023. Registration will open on Friday at 11am. “Registering early is the best way of guaranteeing a good preparation,” said Antwerp’s mayor Bart De Wever.

The country’s biggest running party will kick off on Sunday 23 April at 10:30am with a 1.8km Kids Mile for children aged 4 to 12. One hour later, the starting gun will resound for the 6.8km Baloise Antwerp Short Run. The first starting wave of the 10 miles will leave at 1:30pm, the fourth and last at 2:45pm. This way, the tens of thousands of participants on the 16km course will be spread out as much as possible. The participants’ running comfort is paramount.

This year, the Baloise Antwerp 10 Miles welcomed as many as 30,500 runners. The most popular distance is of course the 10 miles itself. Over 80% of participants opted for the iconic 16km run through the Kennedy and Waasland Tunnels.

“The ideal gift to put under the Christmas tree!”

Antwerp’s mayor Bart De Wever: “I wish all Flemish runners warm and happy holidays. Be sure to make the Baloise Antwerp 10 Miles one of your new year’s resolutions! Registering early is the best way of guaranteeing a good preparation. So, the Baloise Antwerp 10 Miles is the ideal gift to go under the Christmas tree! Let’s get 2023 moving right away.”

“Running party for everyone”

“The Baloise Antwerp 10 Miles should be a real running party for everyone,” says Liesbeth Laureys, Marketing and Digital Director at Baloise. “We want to get as many people running on 23 April as possible, because exercising together and cheering each other on motivates. Baloise goes ‘the extra mile’ to make the Baloise Antwerp 10 Miles a top edition. Therefore we will be motivating our staff, brokers, friends and family even more to join the Baloise team in the coming weeks. We are aiming for at least a thousand runners and supporters. To achieve this, we will organise various motivational actions. Training together for the Baloise Park Miles in January is a nice warm-up for that.”

“A day full of exercise and experience”

“I already know where I will be on the fourth Sunday of April,” said Antwerp Councillor for Sport Peter Wouters. “It continues to be an indescribable feeling to press the start button and see that impressive sea of people starting to move. In 2023 again, Sporting A is counting on tens of thousands of runners and supporters to lubricate those calves and vocal cords to start Flanders’ biggest running party with a bang. So, mark the date of the Baloise Antwerp 10 Miles in your diary, register and get ready for a day full of exercise and experience.”
